Introducing the 2022-2023 Officer Team
The following individuals have been selected by their peers to serve and lead the chapter for the coming school year. They met in July to plan events and activities for members and it is going to be a great year! This is the team that planned and organized the chapter's first ever Growing with FFA camp held at the end of July! Read below to meet the team!
President: Jayden Hicks
Jayden is a Junior in the program and in the Greenhouse & Nursery Management class. He is in his third year in the chapter and has participated in the Ag Soil judging, Job Interview, Extemporaneous Public Speaking, Ag Power Diagnostics and Dairy Cattle Judging. Jayden has also participated in Fall Clean-Up, Fall Sales, Alumni & Supporters BBQs, Greenhouse, Safety Awareness Day and many others. His supervised agriculture experience includes working at WTGR radio station as a Farm News Director and raising ewe lambs.
For this upcoming year he is looking forward to obtaining his State FFA Degree.
Vice President: Sarah Savoy
Sarah is a Senior in the program and is in the Business Management class. She is in her fourth year in the chapter and has participated in General Livestock judging, Job Interview, Fall Sales, Greenhouse, Alumni & Supporters BBQs, Safety Awareness Day and many others. Her supervised agriculture experience includes raising market lambs and showing them at the Darke County Fair.
