About the director ...
This is my fifth year of teaching and I am very excited to be returning to Greenville and working Greenville Middle School. I was born and raised here in Greenville.  I grew up singing with my family for area churches, benefits, and even the Great Darke County Fair. In high school, I was apart of numerous bands, theatre productions and choirs, including the Wavaires show choir. After graduating high school, I attended Ball State University where I graduated with a degree in Vocal and General Music Education.  I was involved in several ensembles at Ball State, including the Opera Department. I even had the chance to have my very own part in one. I was also involved heavily in Sigma Alpha Iota, which is a music fraternity for women. It gave me the chance to work out in the community and to share the gift of music with others. After graduating in December 2012, I worked as a substitute teacher for multiple districts in the county including here in Greenville. I then accepted a position in Connersville, Indiana working at Frazee and Maplewood Elementary schools for over 600 students. I am so excited to be returning to Greenville City Schools. Let's have a stellar year this year!!!
