GHS Announces 1st Semester Exam Schedule
Tuesday, January 19, 2016 – English/Foreign Language Exams
Wednesday, January 20 - Business Dept. Exams
Thursday, January 21 – Science Exams
Friday, January 22 – Fine Arts Exams
Monday, January 25 – Social Studies Exams
Tuesday, January 26 – Trade and Industrial Exams
Wednesday, January 27 – Mathematics Exams
Thursday, January 28 – Semester Classes (Health, PE) and Make ups
Friday, January 29 – Make ups
Note: The bell schedule is a regular bell schedule. Students will take the semester exam in class on the day that is associated with the department. The exam may be given over two days and in this case a student may have multiple exams on that day. Teachers will continue to teach after the exam is given on new material for the second semester. The second semester is shorter due to state testing and this will allow for more material in the second semester. If a delay or cancellation would occur during the first week of semester exams, then the missed day would be doubled up on the next day. If a delay or cancellation would occur during the second week of the exams, everything would back up one day unless it happened on multiple days during the second week, then it would double up.
