Re: Ohio State Marching Band Concert
Our upcoming trip to Columbus, Ohio is within two weeks. Please take note of the following schedule and information so you can plan ahead and be prepared for what should be a fun day of hearing an outstanding marching band.
6:45am: Chaperones meet Mr. McKibben in the band room for attendance rosters.
Students should begin arriving.
Students should only bring a coat and a packed lunch.
7:00am: Load assigned busses and chaperones take attendance. Absences reported to Mr. McKibben. Mr. McKibben will report absences to attendance office.
Busses will be behind Memorial Hall.
Chaperones make sure our bus has a sign with school name in right front window.
7:15am: Busses leave for Columbus, OH
We will not wait for late students. No refunds.
9:15am: Arrive at the Schottenstein Center. Borrow Drive, north of the center. See map.
Students dropped off.
Busses directed to parking. Drivers should then meet the band inside.
10:00am: The Ohio State Marching Band in Concert!
12:00pm: Dismissal: Groups will be dismissed by the event staff.
Bus drivers will be told what time to report to the busses to pull around for pick up.
Due to our time frame, we will most likely be eating lunch on the bus prior to heading back to Greenville.
2:20pm: Arrive at G.J.H.S. and prepare to go home.
Important Notice: Our goal is to get home prior to school dismissal. In case we are delayed please have a plan in place for students to be picked up at the Junior High.
