It's almost the end of the year!
Greetings parents! Can you believe it? We are almost at the end of the school year! What an exciting year it has been. These students have grown so much over the course of the year and I am extremely proud of each one of them, I know you are too!
As we continue to speed closer to the end of the year, it is very important to remember it is not over yet! Attendance at this time of the year is more important than ever! Please be sure that your child is at school everyday, on time, and has ate breakfast. I begin teaching after morning announcements at 9:15 and if a student is coming in late, they miss important lessons.
Please also continue to work with them at home. We begin our finally MAP test in May, and I want all of the students to do their absolute best and show as much growth as possible. Students should be reading for 30 minutes daily, working on writing and spelling, addition, subtraction, and now moving into time and money concepts, as well as, geometry.
Our homework has changed over the course of the year and if you have any questions about it, please let me know. Homework only gets harder the older they get, so focus on building good study skills now, so they are ready later!
As always, if you need anything, please let me know. I am here to help!
