The Greenville City School’s Board of Education met during a special meeting at the St. Clair Memorial Hall in the Anna Bier Civic Room on Wednesday, April 8, 2015.

Treasurer, Carla Surber presented the following items receiving the Board of Education approval:
• A resolution was approved for disposal of fixed assets.
• A contract was approved with WorxTime for compliance with the Affordable Care Act in the maintenance of personnel records according to legislative requirements. The implementation cost is $795.00 plus a subsidized cost per month per employee of $.25 each.
• A contract was approved with BoardDocs (OSBA approved vendor) for the implementation of an electronic recording system for board records and votes at a cost of $2,700.00 and a one-time fee of $1,000.00 for set-up.

Superintendent, Douglas Fries presented the following items receiving the Board of Education approval:
• The Master Agreement effective July 1, 2015 with the Greenville Education Association was ratified by the Board of Education to remain in effect through June 30, 2018 with identified provisions.
• A contract was approved with Midwest Auctioneers and Realty to conduct a school district equipment auction with a charge of 10% commission based on the total gross sale proceeds that will be deducted in addition to the advertising and promotional expenses and any other items enumerated in the contract. The auction will be conducted at Greenville Senior High School, 100 Green Wave Way, Greenville, Ohio during May of 2015.
• A contract with the Montgomery County Educational Service Center to provide occupational therapy service for an additional student for the remainder of the 2014-2015 school year at a cost of $497.64.
• Approved of a per diem contract based on Column II, Step 0, for Susan Stoner effective March 18, 2015, since she has served 60 consecutive days as a substitute teacher in the same position. Further recommend this contract automatically expire at the end of the 2014-2015 school year.


The meeting was adjourned. The next regular board of education meeting will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the St. Clair Memorial Hall, Anna Bier Civic Room at 7:00 p.m.
